CYCLE FOR CURES

Riders of all ages and abilities will begin their scenic ride through Orange County at Angel Stadium. Start times will be staggered based on route. All rides conclude at Angel Stadium for the finish line celebration. The fully supported ride includes well stocked rest stops and mobile support, as well as a lively festival with food and entertainment.

Riders are expected to wear helmets throughout the duration of the ride. All riders follow the Rules of the Road, meaning you will be riding with car traffic and must obey traffic laws. See our Safety section for more information.

Registered riders for the metric century ride and century ride will receive lunch at the UC Irvine Campus. All riders will enjoy catered food at the festival at Angel Stadium upon return from the ride.

RIDERS
Go the distance and put cancer behind us. Select a route that matches your skill level and commit to raise the funds associated with your route. We make fundraising fun and easy, so get ready to cycle for cures!

Each rider must make a kick-off self-donation of $50 to demonstrate your personal commitment to those affected by cancer.

10 mile- $500 fundraising commitment
30 mile- $500 fundraising commitment
60 mile- $1,000 fundraising commitment
100 mile- $1,000 fundrasing commitment


STATIONARY RIDERS
Perfect for beginners and advanced riders, this stationary bike adventure is an exhilarating journey toward a world without cancer. Set a fundraising goal and get inspired to cycle for cures.

Each rider must make a kick-off self-donation of $50 to demonstrate your personal commitment to those affected by cancer.


10 MILE RIDE

This ride is perfect for everyone with a bike- even a beach cruiser! This scenic, mostly flat route through Orange County has limited time sharing the road with car traffic. Start your casual cruise at Angel Stadium and head west on the Santa Ana River Trail. Circle back to conclude your ride at Angel Stadium.

All riders must be 12 years of age or older to ride this route. Riders must wear a helmet throughout the duration of the ride, and equipment must have the appropriate safety markings. All rides follow the Rules of the Road, meaning you will be riding with car traffic and must obey traffic laws.

30 MILE RIDE

Looking for a challenge, but not ready for a long haul? This route is perfect for you. Enjoy a mostly flat route through beautiful Orange County with limited time sharing the road with car traffic. Start at Angel Stadium and begin an easy pedal on the Santa Ana River Trail. From there, head south and enjoy the ocean breeze and scenic view as you ride along the beautiful Pacific Coast Highway. You may enjoy the ride so much you don’t want to return, but be sure to loop back to enjoy a cold beverage at Angel Stadium.

All riders must be 18 years of age or older to ride this route. Riders must wear a helmet throughout the duration of the ride, and equipment must have the appropriate safety markings. All rides follow the Rules of the Road, meaning you will be riding with car traffic and must obey traffic laws.

60 MILE RIDE

This is the perfect challenge for stronger riders who are looking for an interesting route. Begin your ride through Orange County at Angel Stadium and head west to the Santa Ana River Trail. From there, head south and enjoy the ocean breeze and scenic view as you ride along the beautiful Pacific Coast Highway. Next you will ride through the beautiful UC Irvine campus and enjoy lunch before turning north to head back to Angel Stadium.

All riders must be 18 years of age or older to ride this route. Riders must wear a helmet throughout the duration of the ride, and equipment must have the appropriate safety markings. All rides follow the Rules of the Road, meaning you will be riding with car traffic and must obey traffic laws.

100 MILE RIDE

This century ride is for the avid cyclist. Begin your ride through Orange County at Angel Stadium and head west to the Santa Ana River Trail before turning south to Pacific Coast Highway where you will enjoy the ocean breeze and scenic view. Next you will ride through the beautiful UC Irvine campus and enjoy lunch before riding through the challenging and beautiful terrain. Head north to return to Angel Stadium to enjoy a cold drink.

All riders must be 18 years of age or older to ride this route. Riders must wear a helmet throughout the duration of the ride, and equipment must have the appropriate safety markings. All rides follow the Rules of the Road, meaning you will be riding with car traffic and must obey traffic laws.

ANTI-CANCER CHALLENGE FESTIVAL

Enjoy exhibitor booths, sampling, merchandise, live entertainment, craft beer and food from local vendors.

PACKET PICKUP FOR SUNDAY’S RIDE AND RUN

Riders and runners are encouraged to pick up their packet to receive their bib and important information.

CHILDREN’S RIDE

Ready. Set. Ride! Children ages 3-11 will navigate the simple yet exciting bike course in a friendly competition with other children of their age.

STATIONARY RIDE

Perfect for beginners and advanced riders, this stationary bike adventure is an exhilarating journey toward a world without cancer.

BEER FOR CURES

Anti-Cancer Challenge participants raising $500 or more for cancer research recieve two tickets for admission to the Beer For Cures event. Additional tickets will be available for purchase closer to the event. Admission includes tastings from local breweries.

TEAM VILLAGE

Connect with your teammates in a designated area. Teams that raise more than $25,000 will have a designated tent area.
